We also had this bad performance on V2 with ADSM for MVS.
After upgrading the Server AND the clients to Version 3 our request
which took 2 -4 Hours
went down to 10 - 20 minutes, after first incremental.
I think that one reason for this performance is the AGGREGATE Function
introduced with V3.
Upgrade to V3!
