We've also received this more than a few times on our 3570 B02's, and it is
a tape error.  Support tech actually recommended we manually turn the tape
spindle to "snug up" the tape and try again (like an old 8-track!.....).
Hasn't worked.  Any tapes with a "tension dropped" error have been replaced.
