Alex the best thing is to enable compression on the 3570 you can do this to
the buttons and selection menu on the front panel of the 3570. I don't
recommend to use compression within ADSM if you can use it on the tape
library. When you use compression within ADSM and on the tapelibrary you can
get the reversed effect and files will be expanding. When you use it within
ADSM you put more load on the cleints cpu. Best thing is to turn it on
within the tapelib.
