Could you be a little more specific about the problem you are having?

I am running ADSM V2.1.1.15, ACSLS 5.1.1, AIX 4.2.1, STK 9710.
I do exactly what you describe -
I create a file with the VOLSERS of the tapes to be ejected,
and run the SSI eject_vol command (a leftover from the ENhanced Server
code..)

Works fine for us.
