Hello All!

We recently begun to backup files from NetWare 4.1 servers to ADSM
server(AIX) and run into some
problems. May be someone have experinced similar problems and have some
workarounds for these problems. 

Problem 1: Long file name support
NetWare client doesn't work correctly with long file and directory names .
for example we have backed up 
wrk:\groups\profserv\bottom-top\ directory and files
"service profitability 97.xls" and "service profitability 98.xls" with a
command 
dsmc incremental -subdir=yes wrk:\*.*

Executing query return:

dsmc> query backup wrk:\groups\servprof/bottom-top/ser*
ANS1092E No files matching search criteria were found

To query files located in this directory i must guess "short" version or the
directory.After that query is executed fine:

dsmc> query backup wrk:\groups\servprof/bottom-t/ser*
             Size      Backup Date        Mgmt Class A/I File

This result shows the next problem.
How can I tell now whether file "service profitability 98.xls" or "service
profitability 78.xls" is backed up ? Btw,I cannot restore
file specifying directly "service profitability 98.xls" even if i know exact
file name:

dsmc> restore "wrk:\groups\servprof\bottom-t\service profitability 98.xls"
wrk:restore\
Restore function invoked.
ANS1092E No files matching search criteria were found

Again i need to guess which file SERVPRO0.XLS or SERVPRO_.XLS is the file I
need. Is this normal ? I think it is not...

Problem 2:
May be this is not even a problem,just a thing i could not find in the ADSM
manuals.
I need that file owner of the restored file is administrator who runs ADSM
client from console not
the user who owned this file during backup. This is necessary for example
if user have no more 
quota left on file server. In this case adsm client will fail with disk full
error and file is note restored regardless
where i am restoring this file.
