mksysb writes blocks with a length of 512 bytes
QIC and DAT tape drives accept this block length but not 8mm tape drives
IBM 8mm tape drive are modified to accept 512 bytes.
To do mksysb you have to define an rmt# device an set block length to 512 before
mksysb
If you don't do that mksysb run without errors but the tape is not bootable
