Hello Roger and the Adsmer's,

We have upgraded our MVS server last monday from 3.1.1.3 to 3.1.2.0.

Our DB is 43GB 89% full. The upgradeDB take about 10 minutes to execute plus
time needed to start and stop.

ATTENTION: the documentation to upgrade from V3.1.1 to V3.1.2 on MVS is not
clear:
If you are using the Web Admin Interface, you need to run the IDL too to
load your DB with the new Web interface.
And if you plan to use the scrtipts, one more run with DD=MACRO to load the
DB with the sample scripts.

One question about this: may we run /UPGRADEDB /DD=IDL and /DD=MACRO in the
same run?
I did it in 3 runs but you looses 3 times the UP and Down time of ADSM.

For th rest, the new Web Admin interface is mutch better and the server
seems to be stable.
One little problem (open by IBM): 0C4 after some SELECT commands. (Nobody is
perfect)

About the DB size:
The ACTLOG will take more place because of many new messages.
Scripts uses DB space too.
But I don't know how to query or report it.

Happy to share experience with MVS - ADSM users.

Best Regards,

 Francis.
