Subject: AIX ver 2 client


Hi All

I am trying to restore a AIX ver 2 clients data from an AIX ver 3
Server. The server itself has PTF2 appiled and the client is on the
latest level. I am attempting to do a restore using the from-date
command. It keeps on telling that there is an invalid file
specification.
If I do a restore using latest command the files come back. Does anyone
know the excat command I need to run......I need to recover files from
last friday
