Down side is more servers, more management, but with ESM in the latest
release this gets better.
I like your thought process: spread the risk a bit. A multi-server
environment is bound to perform better. One can more easily balance the
network load, etc., by having more than one system.
I think if you can get beyond the additional management issues, more is
merrier!
