Database Lockout

Hi everybody,

Today i received the following message on my MVS 3.1.1.3 Server :

12.51.53 STC03609  ANR5220I Deleting CARTRIDGE S05881 from Storage Pool
ONSITECART_C.
12.51.53 STC03609  ANR1341I Scratch volume S05881 has been deleted from
storage pool ONSITECART_C-

12.57.19 STC03609  ANR0482W Session 220 for node TOORA01 (WinNT) terminated
idle for more than
12.57.19 STC03609  ANR0482W 30 minutes.

12.57.25 STC03609  ANR0390W A server database deadlock situation has been
encountered: lock
12.57.25 STC03609  ANR0390W request for transaction 0:3979282 will be denied
to resolve the
12.57.25 STC03609  ANR0390W deadlock.

12.57.25 STC03609  ANR9999D ICUTIL(1490): Lock acquisition (sLock) failed
for icvhVolumeType 4.
12.57.26 STC03609  ANR4513E A database lock conflict was encountered in
processing sequential
12.57.26 STC03609  ANR4513E volume history information.

12.57.26 STC03609  ANR4510E Server could not write sequential volume history
information to
12.57.26 STC03609  ANR4510E 'ADSM0.VOLHIST.BACKUP1.VDATA'.

12.57.30 STC03609  ANR0390W A server database deadlock situation has been
encountered: lock
12.57.31 STC03609  ANR0390W request for transaction 0:3979282 will be denied

12.57.31 STC03609  ANR0390W deadlock.

I would like to draw your attention to the 'could not write sequential
volume history' statement and the draw your attention to the following
sample of my volhist file :

The file seems to have ben updated ok.

I have also initiated a move data to check that all is ok and again the file
gets updated ok at 15:19:50.

Has anybody alse come across this ?
