AIX clients: memory allocation errors
1998-11-05 03:20:00
Is there anybody out there, who experienced in general memory
allocation errors while dumping/restoring file systems on AIX?
To be more specific:
Restoring a JFS hits the data seg size of 131MB and exits.
Another AIX machine:
Backing up a DFS also hits dss size of 131MB and exits.
When raising this limit the clients work fine.
Is this a general behaviour or missed I something?
Server: AIX 4.2.1+, ADSM 3.1.1.5
Client1: AIX 4.2.1+, JFS-ADSM 3.1.0.5
Client2: AIX 4.2.1+, DFS-ADSM 3.1.0.5
