Thank You.  This is what I had originally found out.  I have just seen the
illegitimate use
of the acronyms to describe several other File Systems.  This type of
acronym adaptation
has only served to confuse my understanding of an already complex topic.

I'm not from IBM, but I can help...
AFS is the Andrew File System, a distrbuted file system from
Transarc Corp (now a wholly-owned subsidiary or IBM).  DFS is the
Distributed File System, the file system component of DCE
(Distributed Computing Environment).
If you don't know the acronyms, I doubt you're running either of
these, so you don't need to buy it for ADSM.
