Kelly,  NT diagnostics see it as a Quantum alright.   But, unfortunately, IBM
won't support us using the Quantum drivers though. I submitted a design change
request but I think that'll take a l oo  ooo oong time to get results.

Does the drive identify itself as a Compaq drive or a quantum drive?  If it
identifies itself as a quantum drive, it will work.  The way to tell is to
open the NT Swiss Army Knife and select diagnostics.  The devices ADSM sees
will be there.
