I got the same problem...

When you use the Wizard instead of the LABEL LIBV command, you will see that it
is working normally.

ADSM developer team: is there a solution for this problem. I also want to use
the LABEL LIBV command to initialise the tapes instead of the Wizard. The pro
of LABEL LIBV is , that you can schedule it !!!

Subject: 3570 C01 with ADSM on NT


Hi All

I am trying to install a Magstar 3570 C01 Model drive onto a NT machine
with an Adaptec 2944UW card.....I am using v3.1 of ADSm with
PTF4....When I initiallly to label libv......I get error
8302E......Media failure.....I have installed many B01's and B02's and I
have also installed a C01 onto RS6000....Is there something I do not
know about??
