Nothing what so ever... (from what I've seen and tested...
the destination pool is just where to go when it is comming into the
server. Once it gets there the DB record keeps its location no matter
     where it goes.

previously backed up / archived files probably already are NOT in the
same pool as the destination pool for the copy group. ie. the copy
group points to a diskpool, then you migrate that diskpool to a
     tapepool!

and just because it is Friday...

A file is where it is, and goes where you tell it (to go)!
     Plain and simple.

     later,
           Dwight

What effect if any is there on previously archived datafiles when the
archive copy group destination storage pool is changed?

Are the previously archived datafiles:
1) Deleted
2) Remain in the previous destination storage pool
3) Moved from the previous destination storage pool to the new storage pool
