I have a tape volume that I can not remove from my system. I get the
following error messages when attempting to delete the volume:

ANR9999D asvol.c(2840): Empty volid 788 has FULL flag set.
ANR2032E DELETE VOLUME: Command failed - internal server error detected.

Also, when I try updating the vol to "access=destroyed" I get:

ANR9999D asvol.c(2840): Empty volid 788 has FULL flag set.
ANR9999D asvol.c(1592): Unknown result code (267) while deleting a volume.
ANR2032E UPDATE VOLUME: Command failed - internal server error detected.

This volume belongs to a defunct storage pool and device class and I can't
remove the pool and device class until the volume is removed.

I am running the AIX 3.1.5 server but I got the same results on my version
2 server before migrating to version 3.

Any suggestions on how to force the volume deletion will be greatly
appreciated.
