Hello !

After failng to restore db-volume to it's original raw lv, tha lab
suggested to ty and restore the volume to a jfs-file.

The original lv-size was 4288MB. The actual allocated size in adsm was
4284MB (-1MB for overhead, makes 4284 the next multiple of 4)

dsmfmt allocates the size the opposite way. Rounds the given size to the
next 4MB multiple (if needed to), and then adds 1MB.

dsmserv restore db dbvol.... incists that the new volume must be exact the
same size.

However, dsmfmt can not create a volme of 4288MB. You will get a file of
4285 or 4289....

Does anyone know a way to force dsmfmt to bypass its calculations?
Or other ways to crate a db-volume-file of exactly 4288MB?
