Dave,

Here is my take on the info you received:

The IBM ADSMConnect Agent For Microsoft Exchange Server
is a separate product that allows you to backup and
restore your Microsoft Exchange Server databases
(i.e. Directory and Information Store) while the
Exchange Server in online. It has a separate charge
and can be ordered through your IBM representative.
You can download a 60-day "Try and Buy" version from the
IBM ADSM Web site. It requires a Version 2 or Version 3
ADSM server. So, if you are still running Version 1
of the ADSM server, you would have to upgrade to V2 or V3.

The product runs on Windows NT (Intel only) versions
4.0 and 3.51 with Exchange Servers 4.0, 5.0, and 5.5.
I hope this answers some of your questions.
