Let me state up front that, at go-live, we had an 80 GB database that was
projected to hit 120 GB by the end of 1998 (we've been live since 12-30-97).
Our database is at 216 GB and we are getting an order ready for the next
increment of disk (growth is DOWN to 800 MB per day now).

Also, I've never been able to get better than about 45 Mbit/sec (5.5
MByte/sec) over the 100 Mbit ethernet; you will need to look at FDDI or ATM
between the S-70 and your ADSM server (or multiple 100 Mbit ethernet). BMC's
product may well be a better fit (but look at the D/R side of it when
planning - I've run into a site that uses SQL BackTrack or similar to do
their nightly backups -- but they only get to do the FULL backup quarterly
or so, and estimate a 22 DAY recovery [it IS a terrabyte database, but
still...])
