Problem with ADSM 3.1.1.3 and ACSLS
1998-08-10 12:21:35
Hi,
I spent a day to convert my manual library to the stk silo with ACSLS.
Unfortunately, I ran into the problem described by APAR IX77477. When
trying to do an audit on a just checked in volume I get the following
messages:
Actitvity Log
-------------
Date and Time Message

10.08.1998 16:32:57 ANR8311E An I/O error occurred while accessing drive
10.08.1998 16:32:57 ANR8311E An I/O error occurred while accessing drive
E23 (/dev/mte23) for READ operation, errno = -1.
10.08.1998 16:32:57 ANR8355E I/O error reading label for volume A03671 in
drive E23 (/dev/mte23).
Now I have 2 questions.
1. When is this bug oing to be fixed?
2. Why is there no volrange parameter on the checkout libv command?
I have to check out 1850 volumes in the next few hours.
Best regards
Gerhard
