Inactive backups deleted for dead file systems?

I know that if you stop backing up a UNIX file system or a PC drive, the
ADSM copies of those file systems don't expire off the server because if
incremental backup doesn't run, the files don't get marked as INACTIVE.

But what about backup copies that are already inactive when you stop backing
up the file system?  Do they continue to "roll off" based on the RETEXTRA
limit for the copy group?

I suspect the answer is YES, but I would like confirmation from someone who
knows for sure...
