Gerhard,

Changing libraries in ADSM is not a big deal. The migration was written
largely because Enhanced ADSM customers were changing device class'
DEVTYPE as well as library. If you are only changing the library, and your
device is currently CART, ECART, DLT, or GENERIC it will be no big deal.

The devclass has a "library=" parameter, and this is where the hook is.
To go to native ACSLS support, first define the new library with
"LIBTYPE=ACSLS", and define all the drives to this library.
Next, you'll need to run the CHECKIN LIBVOL command
to check all the tapes into the new library's inventory. Lastly, update the
the device class to "LIBRARY=<new-library>". That's all there is to it. After
the last step, all requests for mounts will be handled by the ACSLS support,
which replaces the prompts for manual mounts that you currently get on
your console.
