Hello,
I will be upgrading a Version 2 server to Version 3 with the DB and
LOG volumes on a non-default filesystem (AIX).
I intend to do the following in regards to  upgrading the
existing database:

1. keep a copy of /usr/lpp/adsmserv/bin/dsmserv.dsk
2. uninstall V2
3. install V3
4.copy the V2 dsmserv.dsk back
5.run "dsmserv upgradedb"
(volume history and device configuration issues ignored in the above
steps)
