Hello ADSMers,

Here is my setup:

Dell 4200 Server
NT 4.0 OS
ADSM V3 - /w Client Patch 2 & Server Patch 3
DLT4000 internal
DLT4700 external (this is the device I am attempting to use with ADSM)

Query drive gives GENERICTAPE instead of DLT.

The + sign in Server Utilities gives TAPE0 and TAPE1 rather than the usual
mt#.#.#.#.

When backup is attempted, ADSM errors out with ANS1312 ... Server media
mount not possible.

I think this might be because my DEVCLASS is of type DLT and my tape is of
type GENERICTAPE.

I think that something is taking control of the DLT4700 before ADSM SCSI
Service can... is that possible?

Any suggestions.
