Re: 3575-L24 Tape Library

I believe the "quoted" capacity of a 3570 tape (the type used in a 3575) is
5Gb uncompressed and UP TO 15 GB using HW compression.

As others have stated, this will vary depending on the type of data that
you are compressing (some is more compressible) and if you use HW or SW
compression.

The tape only physically holds upto 15GB, but it may look like you are
backing up more than 15GB worth of data due to the compression.
