Well... much as I like newsgroups, there are a couple of drawbacks.
I'll start with the major one, for me: I don't have newsgroup access
from work. And then there's the thing that was discussed here a week
or so ago about using your job id on Usenet; that's where all the
spammers pick up addresses to send make money fast and XXX stuff to.
I'd rather keep the distribution list. Deleting the notes I'm not
interested in isn't that big a deal, but then I have a very good email
client. :-)
