The suggestion I received from IBM for this was...

Use the novell admin tool "nwadmin" and in there you can browse the novell
directory structure. Find the files you are looking for and it can then tell you
the 8.3 based novell path for these.

You can then start up the dsmc client program and plug the above info straight
in.
