Last weekend we upgraded our ADSM server V2 to V3.1.1.2 on OS/390
     v1.2 platform .
     (communication method :tcp/ip 3.1 and appc )

     1. We have problems with the 'EXPIRE INVENTORY' process:
     following messages(many) were generated:

     ' ANR9999D ASVOLUT(1784): Invalid logical occupancy decrement
     (0.401200 > 0.22064) for volume id 1491.
                 ......'
However: The inventory process ended with a state of success. We
started this process again the next morning: even more messages were
     generated for more volume id's'.

     Question:
Is this a known problem? Do I have to stop the expire process until
this problem is solved ... or can I still run it???
At this moment I stopped the expire process temporarily ...

     2. We started the reclamation process:

      - the server hanged for about 1.30 hours before the effective
     reclamation process started .
     - The percent reclaimable values for some volumes are incorrect.
It seems to be a known problem and an upgrade of the server to
V3.1.1.3 should solve this problem....however : when I start the
server with this new level I have other problems !!!

'ANR5099E Unable to initialize TCP/IP driver - error binding acceptor
     socket 18 (rc = 48).'

     Question:
Has anyone else encoutered this problem?

I informed IBM representatives but they haven't yet an answer.
I hope to get as quick as possible an answer because I cannot stop
     both processes forever !!
     Thanks in advance.
