Coverting to a 3494 Silo

Can anyone give me a step by step process by which they have done a
successful tape drive conversion from a multi 3590 Library(4) tape drive
set
up to a 3494 Silo(6 drive) setup?  I've looked in several locations
including
(Redbooks, online, and manual) and found inconclusive steps.

All assistance will be greatly appreciated..
