I am attempting to use an ODBC application (not MS Access)
to obtain data from the ADSM server (version 3.0.1 AIX)
and have the ODBC driver for ADSM intalled on WinNT4 workstation.
The ODBC came from the 3.0.3 client package.

I have the ODBC stuff configured correctly since I have no
problems access the information from Ms Access, or
from a variety of other ODBC applications, but with both
the Borland BDE administrator (mich maps API calls through
an ODBC driver) and another ODBC API client, I get the
error message of

ADSM: The driver associated with the hstmt does not support
the function - SQLConnect()


I am guessing that all of tha applications that work, perform
an SQLOpen() API call, but the SQLConnect() call should
also work.

Anyone have any experience with this, or can any of the IBM ODBC
developers shed any light on this.
