Around 1000 KB/sec is pretty good.

Our configuration is - NT Server 4, two 266 MHz, 512 Mb RAM and TCP/IP.

Aggregate transfer rate depends on several factors, one of which is the
performance
of the machines involved. Our ADSM server is used to back-up other
servers of various ages.
The fastest machine has performed over 1200 KB/sec, but some are only
capable of around 10 KB/sec.

Regards

Pete

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what kind of aggregate data
transfer rates I should expect.

My configuration is as follows:

NT Server 4.0
300 MHZ
128M RAM
This server is backing up itself. It is a file/print server.

I am using a DLT 4000 drive with an autochanger.

Currently I am getting around 1000 KB/Sec.
