Hi Scott,
We are using 3570 B02 lib on an IBM server running windows NT4.0 SP3,
ADSM server V3.1.1.1, client V3.1.0.3 and we don't have problem with the checkin
Command (we use barcode).
The SCSI used is an ADAPTEC 2944UW differential (it should be differential).
However as you have been able to define the lib, drives and label tapes, I 
think the
3570 is working and you may have to re-install the lot.
Hope you will get more help from the fellows on the list or from IBM.
