Adrian,

     I am also a NT client version 3.1 backing up to a version 2.1.13 MVS 
server,
and I can open the pane (I suppose you are speaking of the '+' in the box left 
to
the folder), although it does take quite a while for it to open depending on how
many files you have in that folder.  Try giving it a while.
