IN looking at the messages manual for your ANR1439E message a couple of
questions came up...

1.  Is this a V3 client?

2.  Do you have compression on at the client?

3.  Is caching enabled on the server?

If the answers to 1 and 2 are yes, I would suggest adding "COMPRESSALWAYS NO"
to the client's DSM.OPT, and trying the backup again.
