I have BUFPoolsize set to 51200 which would seem to indicate 50Mb.

The database status page says

        "Buffer Pool Pages 12800"
        "Cache Hit Pct. 94.8"


Monitor says dsmserv.42 has 15M allocated and around 8M resident.
(F50/aix 4.2.1 w 256Mb RAM and 800Mb swap/ADSM Server 3.1.1.2)

Now I am confused.  Exactly what does this parameter do?  Is there an upper
limit?
