But you can do reclamation on your copy pool tapes.  Just issue the
update stgpool command and change the reclamation threshold to be
something lower than 100% and let them get cleaned up.  ADSM will mount
the local tapes (that contain copies of the files on the offsite tapes)
and create new copy pool tapes.  The offsite tapes that had low
utilization will be empty when the "delay period for volume reuse" has
elapsed.  Then they will be returned to scratch, if that's where they
came from.

I don't think I left anything out here.  Except that it's recommended to
reset the threshold back to 100% so you can control when reclamation
runs for your offsite tapes.
