Does DSMCUTIL also apply to ADSM NT client V2?

I understand that it comes with the V3 client but can it just be copied
from a V3 client to a V2 client and used with the V2 client to create
multiple service entries?

If you use the newer DSMCUTIL instead of DSMCSVCI you can specify a
different service name and options file on each invocation of
DSMCUTIL INSTALL, thus eliminating the need to perform an manual
edit of the registry.
