The problem is that the "exclude /.../nfs/user/c/.snapshot/.../*" is a subset
of the "include /.../nfs/user/c/.../*". ADSM processes the include/exclude list
from the bottom-up, and stops the processing with the first match. Thus files
matching your exclude also match you include. Since the include is processed
first, ADSM will back up the file.

Try swapping the exclude with the include, and see if that helps (you'll need
to restart the client in order for this to take effect).

exclude /.../*
include /.../nfs/user/c/.../*
exclude /.../nfs/user/c/.snapshot/.../*

Hi,
I am trying to exclude the following (and this is how the include_exclude
file looks like):

***********************
exclude /.../*
exclude /.../nfs/user/c/.snapshot/.../*
include /.../nfs/user/c/.../*
        .
        .
        .
***********************
However, this does not seem to exclude the "exclude
/.../nfs/user/c/.snapshot/.../*" directory. Does anyone have any idea why ?
