Hi Ravi,
If you are running ADSM V3 on your server, you can use the new SELECT
command e.g. SELECT * FROM BACKUPS or SELECT * FROM ARCHIVES.

Subject: New ADSM User questions
Hi
We just installed the ADSM server with the IBM tape library
running on
an RS6000 running AIX 4.2. We have NT and Solaris clients that
are currently
backing up files to the adsm server in a scheduled mode and
things are going
OK. I would greatly appreciate receiving information about the
following:
o On the client, I am able to issue the query backup command
to get a
list of all files (and different versions of it using the date
in the
command line) in a filespace backed up from that node. I am
unable to find a
similar command that I can execute on the server. Basically I
would like to
see the list of backed up files on any filespace from any
machine on the
server.
o What is the command that will let me look at the files in
a filespace
defined for a different node?
Thanks you very much.
Ravi
