We use the 9730 on our version ADSM V2.1 servers. STK wrote special code
so that ADSM would see it as a 9710. Works so far. I have the code but
if your not
familiar with loading, or don't have the right mod tap connectors you
will need STK's help.
Also, we have to use Device mod 3 because it is emulating a 9710.

IBM promised us that they would support the 9730 with V3.0... Six months
later....
