I am trying to define a tape library on a 60 try before you buy copy
of ADSM V3 for WinNT.

The library is an HP SureStore c6280a. This device is not listed as
a supported device on IBM's Web site, but we are told that the device is
supported. e-mail excerpt...
   >>We're supporting the "c6280F" (Also known as an HP SureStore DLT
   >>Autoloader
   >>418). Knowing how HP works it's safe to say the "c6280a" is some
   >>flavour of the same unit and will work with the ADSM driver we have
written.

I am issuing this command:
    define library surestore1 libtype=SCSI device=lb1.0.0.1
The error returned is:
ANR8418E DEFINE LIBRARY: An I/O error occurred while accessing the
library SURESTORE1.

The library is on-line and ready.
NT sees the device as ID:1 LUN:0 BUS:0 PORT:1
The ADSM utility application also sees the library in this
configuration, but lists it as unnamed.
What else? Oh yea, the ADSM scsi service will not start. Whatever that
means.

Can someone point me in the correct direction?

Thanks in advance for your help.
