It probably means that the data was either backed up by something other than an
API application (an ADSM backup client for instance) or that the level of the
API used to restore the data is downlevel from the level of the API used to
back it up.

Subject: UnKnown Format
Okay IBM,
I've been around the bend on the API here a couple times and I'm getting
frustrated. On a call to dsmGetNextQObj (either fast path or non-fast
path), I am now getting DSM_RC_UNKNOWN_FORMAT. This occurs when
querying filespace data on normal UNIX filesystem data and also the
Informix Non-Log data. What's going on here?
Just what format are we expecting? I am trying to send the data to a
DataBlk with the proper stversion. If I ignore the error, no data is
returned, but it correctly steps through all objects which match the
query.
WHAT structure should I be using for this so I can avoid this error?
