Hi all,

First off - thanks to everyone who checked out their IBM website
connections for me and responded that the problem was in my server. You're
right! I accessed them all yesterday with no problem.

Another question (forgive me if it's been covered): How exactly does
ADSM handle files being archived? I believe that the client option file is
not considered, although I did find a reference in the manual about it
looking at the option file for purposes of INCLUDES and specific management
class assignment. My problem is, I can't quite figure out how to keep
scheduled archives from returning a 'failed' completion due to files that
cannot be accessed. If you can't exclude them in the option file, is there
some other way to do it? Is there some parameter by which I can set how
many errors are acceptable before failing the command? Does ADSM consider
it a failure after only one missed file?

I guess that's more than one question. If the answers are documented
somewhere, please feel free to point me in the right direction. BTW, my
server is MVS OS/390 1.3 and the client is NETWARE 3.1.

                              TIA,

                              Ginny
