We submit a command like this and capture the output --

 update volume * access=offsite whereaccess=readwrite
                       wherestatus=full,filling wherestgpool=copypool

The output is a list of the volumes that the command updated. We then
massage the list into a volume eject list to eject them from the STK silo
and to make the shipping document for the offsite courier.

You can add 'preview=yes' while testing.

you can get a list of volumes used by database backup with the command --

 query volhistory begind=today type=dbbackup

and massage its output too. this assumes you just ran the backup. Adjust
the begindate as necessary.

Use 'delete volhistory' to free database backup tapes. Use storagepool
reclaim to free copypool tapes. Again, capture the output to make a list of
what to bring back from offsite.
