ADSM Backups through NT PPTP

Has anyone played with trying to run ADSM backups through Windows NT PPTP
(tunneling)? We have an isolated test network that I need to back up.
The ADSM server is on a separate network. My only access to the test
network is through PPTP. Does anyone know how to run backups through the
PPTP tunnel? Any information will be greatly appreciated.
