If you have any more detailed information on exactly what "Oracle will no
longer support 'third party' hot backup products" means, could you please post
it to the list.  Does it mean they will withdraw all Oracle support if you use
such a product, or only that they will not help with a restore from a third-
party's backup?  Thanks for any information - we are just about to start
looking into this area also.
