Hello everyone,

Has anyone used ADSM on SGI IRIX systems that are also running "Failsafe"
high-availability software?

This software does typical MAC and IP Address takeover allowing server B to
continue providing client data access to a set of shared disks if server A
goes offline.

We are trying to figure out how the ADSM client and server will react to
this.  Since ADSM seems to send the actual hostname as part of establishing
the session (ie: not just the IP address) I'm thinking that we may not be
able to continue normal backup operations while in the failed-over state.

This is probably a typical scenario for most HA environments.  Any comments
or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
