Last week IBM made an announcement of an extension to the DRM
feature.
Attached is
information from that announcement.

DRM Stand-alone Disk Image Dump and Restore provides simplified
system recovery from hard drive failure for most Intel-based
workstations. Stand-alone Disk Image Dump and Restore is a new
capability of the optional priced DRM feature. Disk images are
stored as objects in an ADSM V3.1 server by using diskettes which
contain an embedded OS/2 operating system, TCP/IP communications,
and ADSM V3 client Application Program Interface (API). DRM
Stand-alone Disk Image Dump and Restore is an operating system
independent hard drive recovery solution for a wide variety of
personal computers that are capable of using OS/2 as an embedded
operating system; OS/2 does not have to be installed on the
personal computer being dumped or restored.
