If you use "RENAME NODE" I don't believe ADSM will treat the next incremental
as a full backup.  But if you just change the node name in the options file
and register it as a new node on the server, then ADSM will treat it just
like a brand new node and do the full backup.

On a Netware 4.1 client, ive been running incremental backups for some
time....
This is a large client ..about 40G. I want to only alter the NODENAME in the
opt file. If Im not mistaken, on the next incremental, ADSM will NOT treat it
like a initial FULL backup will it..??
Im running adsm v2.1 on aix 3.2.5
