Eric,

 When a  unrecoverable write error happens, the server fails the current
incomplete transaction (the file(s) being backedup) and backs it out.  The
transaction is then retried to the next available tape.

 Yes, if you delete a volume with the discarddata=yes option, their
entries are removed from the database so the next incremental backup will back
them up again.

Steffen,
I am OK, on the fact that files backed up before write error, stay on
this tape. And I have to do a move data to put it on another tape. But I
want to be sure that the file located on the write error is backup on an
other tape.

The other question was, if I delete a volume containing data. Does these
were backed up next time ?
